Arts Enterprise is an organization dedicated to building a national network of chapters that educate, promote, and support emerging leaders who blend entrepreneurial thought and artistic creativity to inspire social growth and sustainable ventures.

AE envisions a world where arts and business leaders work together to address social, cultural, and economic challenges that characterize the 21st-century world.

GUIDING VALUES

Our guiding values represent a national platform for the knowledge-based, conceptual economy, effectively blending the arts and business worlds through chapter-based activities. The organization is guided by the following six values:

1. AEC will change the way the blending of business and the arts is perceived.
AE Central will provide career entry points for students into the business and arts sectors by engaging with national business leaders and school administrators. The organization's focus on these values will build the arts and business leaders of tomorrow.

2. AE is dedicated to service.
AE members strive to make their communities stronger through service. Chapters contribute to creative initiatives and institutions in their region and world.

3. AE magnifies the human capacity of its members through participation.
Members of AE grow by doing, which means that members not only attend and support AE activities, but that members are entrusted with imagining and realizing their own ideas and projects. Leaders emerge by having opportunities to make decisions, deserve credit for success, and having the opportunity to fail. Vital to the success of AE is that current leaders continually nurture future leaders who will replace them and that all members serve as advocates for the organization by recruiting new members.

4. Collaboration and imagination are at the heart of AE.
AE members believe that group synergy is stronger than individual efforts and collaborate in all facets of their work. AE members listen to one another and know that growth requires mutual respect.

5. AE is opportunistic.
AE seeks to maximize opportunities its community and environment provide. AE chapters strive to engage collaborators in order to maximize resources and impact while minimizing cost.

A thriving culture of arts and business needs innovative ventures. AE inspires its members to invent the businesses and arts organizations of the future.
