Arts Enterprise has developed the following strategy to grow the chapter network:
I. Support chapter launches & development – Through our hands-on approach to growing the AE network, we anticipate that we will have 30 total dues-paying chapters by the end of 2010.
II. Support the creation & launch of new business/social enterprises – Our launch of AEIdeas™ will support the creation and launch of new enterprises within our national network. AEIdeas™ will officially launch in the fall of 2010 and will be set up in a new venture competition format.
III. Support career development of members – We have set the goal to support our membership beyond the walls of their chapters. This will be accomplished by offering alumni and member networking opportunities, the posting of internship and job opportunities through our website, and mentoring.
IV. Demonstrate impact of AE nationally – AE will construct its first annual report in the summer of 2010 that will document outcomes, provide an organizational self-assessment and outline our five-year plan.
V. Disseminate knowledge about AE – We aspire to communicate broadly in order to educate others about the successes to-date of AE. This will happen through our writings, online presence and conference presentations.
VI. Establish a sustainable organization – Our highly active and engaged board of directors has set a robust agenda to scale up the organization over the next two years.
