First Annual Chapter Challenge Announced

The Arts Enterprise central team is pleased to announce the AE Chapter of the Year Award which will be presented to the AE Chapter that has developed a strong membership base, innovative programming, and a meaningful connection on their campus and in their community.  The AE Chapter of the Year will be selected by the AE Executive Board based on the following criteria:

  1. Membership: We are looking for the most members connected to the Arts Enterprise national network via Facebook and newsletter-level membership (both are free) and the highest level of event attendance. Additionally, each chapter must have a signed chapter agreement on file with AE Central.

  2. Programming: Programmatic activity will be evaluated in terms of frequency of activities, diversity of programming, and reporting activities through the AE Event Form on Google Docs.

  3. Community Engagement: To qualify for Chapter of the Year, chapters must implement at least one community engagement program and report it on the AE Event Form.

The AE Chapter of the Year will be announced at the 2011 AE Summit, February 19-21 in Kansas City, MO.
