March 15, 2010—UMKC Student group Diverse Tours the AE Chapters

Bowling Green, OH—The Arts Enterprise Network supported its first musician tour from March 10-15, 2010.   Supported entirely by the existing Arts Enterprise chapters, the critically acclaimed jazz quintet, Diverse performed over the course of a week, giving performances on the campuses of the University of Michigan, University of Misssouri—Kansas City, University of Wisconsin—Madison, and Bowling Green State University.  Diverse performes with a blend of styles and genres to create music that finds wider appeal without sacrificing the integrity of their musicality. The implications for this tour are huge as Arts Enterprise continues to grow its network.  The hope of the national organization is to foster future "inter-campus" performances amongst the chapters, allowing any well prepared ensemble to gain national exposure when performing their art.
