December 10, 2008—AE member Hoverman selected to attend the Generation "E" Conference!
Congratulations to Kristen Hoverman for being selected as one of fifteen college students in the country to participate in the Generation “E” Conference, to be held at the Eastman School of Music, January 22-24, 2008. Hoverman, a junior flute performance major is also minoring in entrepreneurship at Bowling Green State University and has been instrumental in starting the AE chapter on her campus.
Titled “Preparing the Generation-E Musician... The Place of Entrepreneurship in the Higher Education Music School Curriculum,” the workshop will also involve students selected to attend in discussions on such topics as the difference between teaching entrepreneurially and teaching entrepreneurship. Groups will be asked to come up with additional ideas for integrating entrepreneurship into music curriculums. More information on the Generation "E" Conference by clicking here.
Congratulations Kristen!
