Start A Chapter

On behalf of Arts Enterprise Central, we are thrilled that you are interested in launching an Arts Enterprise chapter on your campus. At its core, Arts Enterprise is about student led initiatives that bring the arts and business communities together in the spirit of creative entrepreneurship. Our goal at AEC is to support these efforts by providing a basic framework for chapters to grow.

In order for us to better serve you, we ask that you fill out the questionnaire located here. The AEC team will use the information gathered to help you think strategically about the best ways to launch your campus chapter. When you have completed the document someone from our AE central team will set up an initial call to move the chapter startup process forward.

Why do you want to start an Arts Enterprise Chapter at your school? Why do you think your University would be a good place to grow a chapter? *

In what ways does your school support student organizations on your campus? Do you have access to campus-wide funds and meeting locations through your student activities area?*

Are you familiar with the process of launching an organization on your campus? Do you know where you would go in order to get the process started?*

Are there currently collaborations occurring between the business and arts areas of campus? (This could be through courses offered, teachers who have dual appointments in other departments or even activities already happening that encourage collaboration between business and arts students.)*

Arts Enterprise chapters are driven by students. Chapter leadership can be very rewarding and fun, however, it also requires a considerable amount of work. Therefore, we require that each chapter has two leaders. (Preferably one leader from the arts area and one leader from the business area.) When launching a chapter, it’s best to have a team of 3-5 students interested in building the AE framework on your campus. How will you build this team?*

Each Arts Enterprise chapter is required to have at least one faculty or university staff advisor. (We prefer one advisor from the arts area and one advisor from the business area.) Who do you plan on approaching to serve as your faculty advisor?*

How will you recruit students to join an Arts Enterprise chapter on your campus?*

How will you support the students in the Arts Enterprise chapter at your institution?*
